SLC Villas on Koh Samui

SLC Villas are located in Tong Yang in the west of the island of Koh Samui at a lake with clear water and a rich fauna and flora. The houses are partly built onto the lake. SLC Villas are an assembly of 5 individually designed holiday homes with one or two bedrooms, made of former containers. Because of the plants and the lake not being deep, it is not suitable for swimming and bathing, but if you enjoy a view over a floating carpet of lotus flowers and water lilies or watch a heron catching a tasty fish for dinner, as well as many other birds attracted by water, this is the place for you to be. End of 2015 a pool will be added for the convenience of the guests.

SLC Villa Yellow

A roofed entrance area separates the house from the driveway. You enter the two storey house through a sliding glass door and reach the spacious open plan living-dining-kitchen area. The living area is furnished with a comfortable, L-shaped sofa, a table, and a side board with a TV. Big sliding glass doors and windows allow light and air to flow through the house and open an unobstructed view out onto the lake and the wide landscape. A big fan generates a cooling breeze during the hot time of the day. As bedroom 1 the living room has direct access to the roofed terrace along the lake side of the house.

On the left side you find the open kitchen with sink, stove and water cooker, and the dining area with a table and four chairs. Next to the kitchen a stair leads up to the 2nd bedroom and the roof top terrace. At the bottom of the stair lies the entrance to the bathroom with washing basin, shower and toilet. Between the entrance of the bathroom and the bedroom 1 you find a fridge/freezer combination.

Bedroom 1 is at the end of the house to the right and it is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, dresser, small furniture and air conditioning. The highlight of this room are sliding glass doors allowing an unobstructed view out onto the lake and giving access to the roofed lake terrace.

Upstairs is bedroom 2 which is identical with bedroom 1, but it has access to the rooftop terrace where you can relax and sip on a cool drink with only the tips of the palm trees and the stars in the sky above you.
